What gives an individual power?

An individual is given power from his or her peers or the power is taken by force. Think of something like a class president. He is given the power to lead his class by his peers through an election. Then then think about Macbeth and how he stole the power through force. I murdered my friend and king, Duncan. I took the power by force. Power can also be inherited through blood line, like in a monarchy or a dictatorship. But in my case I'm just a psychotic murderer who blindly slaughtered my way to power.

  1. So Macbeth, do you think it was the actually killing that gave you more power? You only killed one person with your hands, for the rest, you had someone else do your dirty work. Do you think you felt untouchable because you were king?

  2. Macbeth,

You insane tyrant! Killing all your allies and friends will not give you power! It will grant you your end!
